Helmsman is used for many purposes and has many features, but not every job requires all the features to be present in your front-end software.
In NaviPac 4.11 we have introduced a new dynamic workspace setup, where the Helmsman comes with two pre-configured workspaces: Helmsman and Lite.
The Lite workspace is offered for simpler inspection or support operations where you require a 2D data view with standard runline, waypoint and measurements tools.
The Helmsman workspace includes all features including 2D/3D/Sideview, profiles, eventing and NaviScan integration. In a lot of cases, your needs will fall in-between these two options, and the Workspace Editor can be used to customise your workspace for your needs.
