How do I log in to the HMI on my Ocean Enviro winch?

Some functions on the winch's HMI (touchscreen control panel) are protected and require you to log in before you can change them. If you try to open a protected setting without being logged in, a logon window will appear automatically.

To log in, enter the username and password for the access level you need (see table below). You can log off again from the Settings page once you're done.

There are three password levels, with Level 3 being the highest:

UsernamePassword
Level1daily
Level2captain

Note: Level 3 credentials are reserved for authorized EIVA service personnel and are not published here. If a task requires Level 3 access, please contact EIVA support.

What can I do at each access level?

  • Level 1 (daily): The standard login for day-to-day use of the HMI.
  • Level 2 (captain): Required for changing cable data settings, level wind settings, and for enabling full unwinding of the drum (e.g. when removing the cable). This level is also needed to operate as the spooling winch during a spooling procedure.
  • Level 3 (restricted): Required only for setting the level wind starting point when a new cable is installed. Not published here — contact EIVA support if you need this.

I forgot my password, or it doesn't work. What should I do?

If the passwords above don't grant access, your unit's HMI software may differ from the version documented here, or the credentials may have been customized for your installation. Please contact EIVA support with your winch's serial number and HMI software version for assistance.

Who do I contact for Level 3 access or further support?

For Level 3 access, or any other question about operating or maintaining your Ocean Enviro winch, please contact the EIVA support team.
