The EC-3D Cleaning Tool is a 3D point-cleaning tool in the Point Cleaning Toolbox in NaviModel Producer. Unlike S-CAN which works on DTM cells, EC-3D examines every individual point in a point cloud or DTM. This lets it remove noise while keeping real features that other tools might treat as noise.
EC-3D offers nine cleaning methods that can be used on their own or combined. It is GPU-accelerated and can be scripted in the NaviSuite Workflow Manager.

EC-3D never deletes points. Points identified as noise are flagged as rejected and can be re-accepted.
