A new version of a program is said to be backwards compatible if it can use files and data created with an older version of the same program.
Gensetup files from previous versions of EIVA software packages can always be loaded in the latest package. By saving the gensetup file, it will be updated to the latest version.
Note: It is unnecessary to uninstall old software versions before installing the latest version of the software.
