Q. How does NaviEdit use GPS height and bathy?

A. The GPS height is the raw height (positive up) of the GPS antenna above the ellipsoid.

The Bathy is something to add to the 0 Z-level (positive down).

It can both:

- be measured by a pressure sensor (and converted to depth)

- be the result of Recalc Bathy by GPS height calculation (which both can be done from the NaviEdit Data Editor and as a BatchJob).

The Bathy can be disabled in the Header Editor (then the Water Line in the Header Editor is used to define the zero level).

The GPS Height is never used directly. It is always converted to a Bathy sensor before being applied.
