Q. Is it possible to use a binary dxf in NaviModel and NaviPac4 Helmsman’s display?
That would be interesting because binary dxf files are usually far smaller in size than their ASCII equivalent.
A. NaviModel4 and NaviPac4 Helmsman’s display support:
- AutoCAD…ASCII DXF (*.dxf) and
- AutoCAD…(,dwg)
At this point we don’t support:
- AutoCAD…Binary DXF (*.dxf)
We have not experienced any issues when exporting special AutoCAD versions eg 2010/2013/2018. You should be able to use all.
