Flying the Scanfish in cold water can make the rubber in bulkheads and subconns less flexible which might result in leaking current influencing the pressure sensor in the Scanfish controller.
Try to seal off (extra) the pressure sensor port as well as the pow-com port in the controller (2 pin) perhaps also the tow cable termination.
