A: Fly the vehicle approximately 1 m from the target object/structure and keep a constant speed/velocity of no more than 0.2 m/s. This gives the best Voyis VSLAM Powered by EIVA NaviSuite results.
For reliable tracking, keep within the following operating envelope:
- Distance to target: 0.5 to 1 m, with 1 m being optimal.
- Speed: maximum 0.2 m/s, kept constant.
- Attitude: move in a stable pattern so the vehicle attitude stays consistent.
- Network: Ethernet bandwidth of at least 500 Mbps, with the camera streaming stills at 10 fps.
Operating outside this envelope, especially exceeding 0.2 m/s, can cause loss of tracking.
