Q: Runlines, waypoints and shapes are not distributing from Master Helmsman's Display to the Remotes, what can I do?
A: In case NaviPac doesn't distribute the runlines, waypoints and shapes you need to check the following:
- All computers have the same version of NaviPac/Helmsman (we recommend NaviPac 4.6.5)
- Antivirus is disabled or NaviPac folder is whitelisted (please see also Helpdesk : EIVA Support (freshdesk.com))
- The Windows services (EIVA Master Service and EIVA Remote Service) are running. If they aren’t, please start them or if they are started please restart them, on both Master and Remotes.
- Delete the file filter.txt (C:\ProgramData\EIVA\Services\Filter). The file will be recreated without any shared files that might block the distribution.
If Helmsman Classic is used, then make sure:
- All computers are inside the same network scope, or domain
- NaviPac folder is fully shared with everyone
- EIVAHOME and the directories are correctly set
- Auto Distribution has the correct settings checked
- Antivirus is disabled or NaviPac folder is whitelisted
