Q: I have installed a new version of Flight or suddenly Flight started crashing every time on startup. What can I do?
A: You can delete the Setup and Layout.xml files on your local drive at: ProgramData\EIVA\ScanFish III.
Also, please send the crash files found in ProgramData\EIVA\ScanFish III\Diagnostics to support@eiva.com, along with screenshots and explanation of what was done prior to the software start crashing.
ProgramData folder on Windows operating system is a hidden folder by Deafult.
Note:
Once when you delete Setup and Layout files, you will need to set up configuration of the Flight Software (Fish IP, Winch IP, Layout of the windows...) under the Options tab in Flight.
