Q: Why does the TSS_Vertical_Range exported from NaviEdit differ from the value shown on the SmartTrack display?
A: The difference is expected to be present as NaviEdit exports the top of the pipe/cable and Innovatum SmartTrack displays the center of the pipe/cable. In NaviScan config when the instrument was interfaced, the diameter of the pipe/cable was defined. This is taken into account when top value is calculated.
During the import of the sbd file, NaviEdit subtracts half of the diameter of the pipe/cable to get the Top of the pipe/cable instead of the center.
Same applies for the TSS instruments (350/340/440) where always the exported TSS_Vertical_Range represents the top of the pipe\cable.
The TSS 440 already detects and records the top of the pipe/cable and this is used in the export as stated above. The radius in not double applied.
