Q: How should POSMV data be interfaced in NaviScan?
A: Naviscan can interface to the Applanix POSMV "Ethernet realtime" instruments directly, Time (posmv group 7), Gyro/Motion (posmv group 102/3), Navigation (posmv group 1), without the POSMVIF.exe (POSMV interface software) from NaviPac in between.
Configure the POSMV instruments in NaviScan Config with the POSMV IP address and UDP port 5602.
POSMVIF.exe can store delayed heave data.
