Q: Why does the User Account Control window open when installing EIVA software?
A: When installing EIVA software you need to have admininistrator rights beforehand.
When the User Account Control window opens, use the Yes button.
This way you reassure that you want to use admin rights (in other words grant processes' access to admin-level (privileged) resources and operations as much as possible).
