In NaviSuite Kuda Core Config you can add a sensor in several ways:

Right-click the vessel in the Vehicle tree and select Add instrument.
Right-click inside the Vehicles window.
Left-click the vehicle in the Vehicles window, then click the + in the top-right of the window.

Any of these opens the New Instrument screen. Expand the Instrument Categories and select the correct instrument driver.
